About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To learn how to trust myself
ABOUT ME
I love books and ideas and talking about them. When I finish school in May, I will head out to NYC/Paris and try my hand at magazine journalism. It's about as big a dream as wanting to become a movie star in Hollywood, but hey, somebody's gotta make it.
PHILOSOPHY
Life doesn't get any better than when you're sharing good food and good wine with good people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I spent a month travelling in May 2006 and spent almost all of my nights on someone's couch. It makes me want to open up my home. What most struck me about couchsurfing is that, in a world where people claim that we have been dehumanized and isolated by technology, the Internet has provided this new way to connect with people on a global scale. I was so surprised at how trusting and welcoming every person was. My favorite was staying on a couch in a Viennese artist's studio, where the bed was in a little curtained off alcove just behind these wild and colorful paintings.
Interests
Cutting my own hair and whoever will trust me with a pair of scissors, The New Yorker and Vogue, reading, family dinners, those talks where everything seems to hit you in the gut
