About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To find and get to know as many cool people around the world as possible.

ABOUT ME

I'm an addict of travelling and exploring new places around the world. I have an intense passion for meeting new and interesting people who, like me, want to see and experience as much of what the world has to offer as possible. I love to party and celebrate all things social with a good beer and good music surrounding me. I love conversations that go on well in to the night and often in to the next morning.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is too short to go through it without trying anything and everything. I As long as you are happy and you are not hurting anybody then I am very cool with that. The things I hate are: racism, homophobia and xenophobia.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm currently travelling but when I get back home and find a place of my own then my couch will be welcome to anyone who needs to crash on it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been extremely fortunate to have had three brilliant couchsurfing experiences so far. My first was in Seattle, USA, with a brilliant guy (also named John) who gave me the opportunity to experience what couchsurfing is and how it allows so many people from around the world to meet different people. I had the best time getting to explore an American city like Seattle through the eyes of a local like John and since then I have cherished the thought of couchsurfing in more places around the world. To be able to simply recommend a bar, restaurant or even a curiosity sight-seeing place to someone who may not have heard it through books or the internet is a wonderful thing an I can only hope to be able to pass on as many "you should visit such-and-such in such-a-such-a-place" as possible in the future.

Interests

Partying, drinking, socialising, music, journalism, books, learning new languages, travelling, tours of historical sites, swimming, soccer, rugby, partying and meeting new people from as far around the globe as possible.

Music, Movies, and Books

i love a huge variety of music but mainly my love is in the indie/alternative/electro/folk variety. i live for music and love hearing different things by different people and groups. whenever i'm in a different part of the world i love to absorb local music and experience it first hand. i also love discussing music and literature of all genres and political ideologies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

If you ever get the chance and you go to Reykjavik, Iceland, make sure you check out a bar called Kaffibarrin. It is in a traditional Icelandic house and you have to climb a steep step of the stairs to get to the dabce floor..but well worth it though!

Also, in Hawai'i, if you are ever on the island of O'ahu make sure you check out Hanauma Bay. It costs $5 to visit for the day and the coral reef is the most spectacular thing I've ever seen. I was lucky enough to swim with a green turtle.... it looked exactly like Finding Nemo it really was that spectacular!

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Iceland, Italy, Luxembourg, Mexico, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, South Korea, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
