Love a new adventure-love my home-love my kids...take on new challenges with gusto. Practical and can turn my hand to most things..love travel, reading, yoga, dance ;love the outdoors and the sunshine - lived on Waiheke Island for 20 yrs so love the sea, boating, swimming, relaxed lifestyle. Love food & cooking, film, good wine, good company and good conversation.

PHILOSOPHY

you reap what you sow...pretty much that's it... so it's all about being happy within yourself and learning to know who you really are...you attract whatever it is that you truly believe - good and bad. Being grateful for all that you have is the best feeling and learning to live in the present moment, enjoying the small things equally.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Love the concept of Cs. Have just been travelling for 4 months around the states, europe and thailand and have had some great couchsurfs along the way..some of our best times were whilst meeting all the cool individuals who make up the couchsurfing community. Back in NZ will look forward to hosting people and showing them how good godzone really is.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Heaps of unofficial couchsurfs for years but officially have been travelling the last 4 months and have had some great couchsurfs along the way. Have had some awesome couchsurfers stay with me here in Auckland so far.....

Interessen

good times! So much but as above...travel, food, wine, books, physicality, film, natural health, technology, photography, yoga, the great outdoors, sunshine and beaches and long walks. Art, music, dance, theatre, building and renovation...have done lots of this. Love the concept of being independent and living a sustainable lifestyle..not a greenie yet but have made good progress! Love growing things - veges and flowers. Love good coffee, great shoes and good clothes and warm climates...but cold is good too.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Uplifting books and movies....not into dark,morbid,cruel,ugly. There's so much beautiful stuff to make books and movies about....really enjoyed "eat,pray,love"by Liz Gilbert. Now that was funny, inspiring and beautifully written and just purely entertaining...love that. Like quirky interesting films that usually do the festival circuit. Loved Heath Ledger in Batman but the film itself didn't do it for me - nice motorbike tho! Like thrillers and drama's and good acting. Use Ekhart Tolle's "a new earth" as a kind of bible, need that to keep on track!

Lehren, lernen, teilen

Have taught English as foreign language in Japan and had lots of experience in speech and drama. Know quite a bit about natural skin care products and herbal supplements. Have a pretty good knowledge of diet and health in general. Am good with building materials and all aspects of house renovation. Want to get involved with film making - am embarking on a project with a longtime friend to write a book of our adventures - then make a movie about it. It's a great story and we want to tell it!! Would love to learn more about my apple computer and how to get the best out of the technology....imovie etc. Would love to learn more about cooking - luv italian and healthy asian.
