Musik, Filme und Bücher

I really enjoy indie rock and pop, have a couple of favourite jazz musicians, but what really makes me go nuts is SOUL, especially 60's and 70's. I love clubbing and parts of the electronical scene. My dad is the singer of a rock n roll band, and growing up with all that country and oldschool rock made me love it.
Films. Well, I saw the Godfather films yesterday, all three in a row, and they are amazing. My first mindblowing experience at the cinema was The Big Blue. I was maybe 10 years old and had never seen anything like it. It is still one of my favourites.
I read a lot, all the time. One of the most recent really fascinating books i read was Jane Eyre. I'm a big fan of the Swedish author Hjalmar Soderberg.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I remeber once on a 7 hour bustrip, a little girl sat down next to me, even though there were plenty of empty seats in the bus. We had a great time, laughed a lot and told stories. After a couple of hours she gave me half of her lunch pack, and I bought us some sweets. She was delighted. "You now what I discovered?", she said. "If you treat people nicely, they are likely to be kind to you back." That little girl made my day, and I think her philosphy is what couch surfing is all about.
