Music, Movies, and Books

Generally I'm the biggest fan of cinema and movies except horror and thriller. And if you could show me some animated shortmovies there would be nothing preventing me from flying to the clouds.
But to number some of my favourites:
Amélie, Léon-der Profi, Corpse Bride, Persepolis, Das Leben der Anderen, Everything is illuminated, Pulp Fiction and particularly Clockwork Orange.

With books there's alwas the same problem:
I really love reading but there are so many books that should be read in life that I often loose the appetite for it.

What concerns music I'm very flexible because there are many genres I already counted as my favourites. But generally I love these lightening french chansons, folk songs with lots of trumpets like bukovina and balkan music. Finally I think the best medicine for rainy and dark days is reggae and dancehall is for the nights.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are some moments in life that you will never forget. Moments and places from which you will narate your grandchildren. And I had exactly one of those moments in Paris in a bookshop called "Shakespeare and Companies". There I probably met the incarnation of cultural clash and the juvenil lightness of being. I met Michèle, a man consisting of 5 different languages and homecountries. And we just philosophised the whole night without knowing each other but because of the interest on both sites. C'est l'hommage à Michèle.
