I'm an Australian living & studying in France for a year with my daughter who is in her final year of school.
We love travelling, meeting people & learning new languages and of course eating local food.
We both speak a little French and a smattering of Italian & Spanish. We love nature & are trying to see the wild places in Europe.

Intereses

Music, particularly singing, is my passion. I love everything from opera through to folk songs. I'm always happy to hear something new & to hear the local country's style such as Fado in Portugal or the women choirs of Bulgaria or the incredible choirs of the Pacific or South Africa.
Camping and swimming - at home I swim in the ocean regularly for exercise & in the rivers when I can. I've done one padi dive course with my daughter & I'm keen to go under again one day.
Bush walking or walking anywhere through the natural environment.
I love languages & wish I could learn them all!
I'm a passionate environmentalist who is all for the importance of preserving & respecting the ecosystem.
I'm an Australian so I love birds because we have so many. I miss them & their singing because they're always around in Australia so I'm very interested to know who the local birds are when I'm travelling.
