Music, Movies, and Books

I love books by Lajos Zilahy (the Dukay's trilogy is one of the best things I've ever read), Simone de Beauvoir & Mircea Cartarescu. I'm also very keen on Amélie Nothomb and I'm discovering Cioran. My favourite film is the Graduate, along with more or less all the Kusturica's. I enjoyed some Philippe Garrel's films lately, Storm by Hans-Christian Schmid & in this very moment I'm very interested in Persian cinema.
I love folk music, gypsy, jazz & rock...actually I like more or less any kind of music.:) In my playlist at the moment I have Muzsicas, Kimya Dawson, Scout Niblett, Antsy Pants, Vladimir Horowitz, Jonsi, Beirut, Nina Simone & Gogol Bordello...but things might change quickly!:)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitchiked with some kinda bulgarian mafia, camped in serbian forests (while being attacked by porcupines, ahah!), swam in the freezing Neretva river in Mostar, hiked in the beautiful Cheile Turzii in Romania, drunk rakija while trying to play a trumpett (unfortunately without great results) with a brassband in Guca......but the most amazing thing I've seen (& I keep seeing thanksgod!) is people smiling and getting closer one to the other without paying much attention to their differences, just enjoying the fact that life gave them a chance to meet.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Indonesia, Latvia, Montenegro, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom
