Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed many a couch - only one through couchsurfing though. I heard tell of a Rufus concert in Montreal and I wanted to go. I met some people on here and they let me stay for three nights - absolutely lovely. I slept on a futon mattress in the living room with their baby kitten each night. It pounced on my face as I drifted off to sleep ... still cute.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My friend, Paul, and I spent three months travelling around Europe this past summer. The mission of the trip was to make ourselves as open to opportunity and chance as possible and to look for evidence of human kindness and trust. We slept on the streets mostly but were taken in quite often as well. The love that we received while on this journey was unbelievable - I don't think I'll ever fear again - there are too many people willing to feed, clothe, house and hug me in this world. You only need to trust.
