Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Trying to make everyone enjoy life a bit more!

I've been hosted in Tijuana, Paris, Colombia, and all eastern Europe down to Istanbul and it was great!!! Otherwise I have been mostly concerned with hosting people I think I've seen more than 70 people in my flat. Some were really nice and we're now friends, some were nice but just passed through and a few(one or two) freaked me out but that is an experience too.

Interests

I make electro acoustic music in a band and DJ. I play the saxophone, guitar and some piano.

Cultivating the perfect american pancake.

Poetry. I am really into haikus!

Graphics - mostly analog stuff. Cut&paste! Collages and stuff. In the autumn this year I am starting a naiveistic crayon graffiti crew.

Sports - Long distance running, pushups and the occasional Tai Chi.

I take a lot of Polaroids!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - I listen to everything that's in sync with my personal rhythm. I enjoy a good Charlie Parker record or any jazz vinyl on Sunday mornings. Bass in the clubs. Right now I am listening a lot to Jens Lekman, Jonathan Richman, Yo-yo Ma, Mayer Hawthorne, Beirut, MF Doom...

Currently reading - Always Wired Magazine, an assortment of blogs, Map for lost lovers, Ulysses...

Movies - Right now mostly into Asian, mainly South Korean movies. But I am a big fan of Owen Wilson and Wes Andersson. I watch a lot of Kung-Fu movies, always.

TV - Mostly into Twin Peaks, True Detective type of series. I also enjoy Arrested Development and almost anything with Michael Cera.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I made it this far...and yesterday I made my own pesto for the first time.

Oh, I made my first short movie recently. A pretty amazing process. It was featured on Stockholm Open Shortfilm Festival.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am pretty skilled in the art of bread making. And I make a mean cup of coffee. Maybe I can teach you a couple of chords on the guitar or better you teach me!
