ABOUT ME

I did my backpacker thing in my mid-20s... now I'm in my early 30s and I'm doing it again! The rest of the time I live with my husband in coastal New England, and write. One of these days we'll make babies but for now we have a dog and we both travel a lot. He's a big-time online gamer. I prefer reading. We both like eating out, hiking, camping, socializing, watching movies,traveling.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is that life is short so we should invest ourselves in the things we're passionate about and stop worrying about impressing anyone else! Easier said than done, of course-- but I try.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of my all-time favorites: playing at night in the phosphorescent water caused by a red tide in California. I was also in an earthquake... that wasn't nearly so much fun.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm studying reflexology and LOVE it-- it's the hands-on healing skill I've wanted for years. Fortunately feet don't gross me out. I'm currently working towards my certification, so I have to do lots of practice hours, rubbing the feet of anyone who will let me! It's an amazingly therapeutic, relaxing treatment... definitely something I'm willing to share with others on an informal basis.
