ABOUT ME

Hej!

I'm a girl who chooses to see the world through a pair of optimistic glasses, to make things possible. I love to meet new people and I think it is something really special with making a new friend. Since long ago I’m member of the Scouts, and just because of some nice German scouts I met, I ended up staying in Germany for almost two year! I'm always longing to do some travelling. Perhaps I'll meet you?

PHILOSOPHY

I have no clue why I live my life, but I know very well how to live it, and also how I choose to live it. My aim is to stay happy, and I've realized I can do that by effecting people in a way that make them feel better or happier. That gives me a lot of energy to enjoy life more.

Interests

Yes, I'm one of the few people over 18 that still is a scout. I enjoy it very much to be a scout leader in the suburb in Gothenburg where I grew up. It is very important for me to work with something I believe in (my scout organization is not connected to church); that all people can develop and have a nice time while learning to co-operate with other people. I also meet so many good people and friends from all over the world by participating in different scout activities.

One other great hobby is to design and sew my own clothes. I love to get really concentrated in the art of producing something that I later can use.

Sport, nevertheless... I do sports in periods when I have time. Usually climbing, xc-skiing, Ultimate Frisbee, hiking. I also do some inline skating and biking but that's more about transporting oneself from one place to another... Next event will be the 90 km Vasa race in klassic xc-skiing style :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The World Scout Moot in Kenya in summer 2010. It was amazing to see the Kenyans organize such a huge event, and it was wonderful to meet so many people from all over the world at a tiny spot of African sand, surrounded with fence and armed guards, 500 meters away from Africa's second biggest slum. Amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you to sew whatever you would like. And Swedish of course.

Perhaps you can teach me some German or English? I love to learn sayings =) I never remember them though :/
