PHILOSOPHY

Not that I'm big on regrets but I've definitely found that I regret the few crazy things I didn't do more than the million idiotic things I have done. So I've decided: If you're not making mistakes you're probably not trying hard enough.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had some great experiences on couches, met a lot of lovely people in meet ups and I'm excited to be able to give back and be a couch option for folks coming through town :-)

Interests

Hiking, meeting new people, outdoor activities, hanging out w/ dogs, supporting good ideas - be that a couch surfing website or throwing a party.

Movies: The Matrix. I like stupid comedy's so obviously The Big Lebowski, Super Troopers, etc, and any Pixar.
I like all music.
Favorite book: Slaughterhouse Five, Kurt Vonnegut

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I solo thru-hiked the Appalachian Trail, but it was really more fun then "amazing"... running around Alaska for a summer and living through college was pretty amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd like to talk about and hear more about: cool places around the world to see, new technologies and breakthroughs, actually anything environmental from energy generation to ocean acidification. I like to learn new games from cards to riddles.
