ABOUT ME

I have just moved to San Antonio to go to PA School... which means I study all the time. My couch is probably open, and I would love to host, but please be aware of the fact that I will be fairly busy and I go to bed at a decent hour.

PHILOSOPHY

I think we are meant to live and work together. That's why we are all here. You can't do it alone. Help when you can help and let yourself be helped when you need it.

God brought me to this place in my life and I am excited to do my best to glorify Him and see what else He has in store for me!

There is always an opportunity to open your eyes wider and learn something.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have surfed and hosted with many wonderful experiences in New Orleans and the Dominican Republic to name a couple.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hangin out with the locals. Also, I surfed in New Orleans and Santiago, DR, and met some great people. I have hosted twice, and my surfers were terrific!

Music- bottomless pit for me. One of my most favortie things to do is to go to concerts. I love the thrill, the adrenaline, and the excitement! My favorite concert so far is definitely Elton John. I love oldies like Elton, The Eagles, Neil Diamond, Three Dog Night, Bruce, The Doors, The Beatles, The Bee Gees, and CCR. I love my Texas Country: Jack Ingram, Pat Green, Eli Young, Josh Abbott. The 80's and 90's are always great: Michael Jackson(any decade) New Kids, Def Leppard, Guns 'N' Roses, Annie Lennox, Bon Jovi, Aerosmith. Jazz is another fave and perfect for a chill mood: Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Ella Fitzgerald, Michael Buble, Miles Davis. Lots of current stuff is great too: Blue October, Celine Dion, John Mayer, Jack Johnson, Norah Jones, U2! R&B is great for the right moods: Usher, 112, Danity Kane, Ne-Yo, John Legend, Jamie Foxx, and Alicia Keys. I love artists that have lasted through different decades and 20+ years. I love to see how they grow and change and how that is reflected in their music. Some of my fave examples of this are Elton, Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, Red Hot Chili Peppers, U2, Bruce, The Eagles. Indie is a recent obsession: The Weepies, Feist, Florence and the Machine, Sia, Ivy, Bon Iver. Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, Buddy Holly, John Coltrane, and Bob Marley

Shawshank Redemption, Major League, Top Gun, Ocean's 11, Center Stage. SPORTS MOVIES!

Books: The Janet Evanovich series is hilarious, The Outsiders is a great one, too. I love to read when I have time.

I jumped off a cliff about 35 feet high into the ocean in Portugal. I lived in Spain. I have been on an African safari. I went rafting down the Nile River. I went to a political concert in the Dominican Republic and the politicians threw money into the audience. I didn't know that actually happened.
