About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Travelling in Mozambique from 3rd to 28th of Aug 2011 with my daughter and my life companion ..totally exciting !. :-)
ABOUT ME
I've lived in several countries, Brazil, India some africans countries.
Famous for my life enthouthiasm and queer sense of humor (maybe a little too french at times :-)
I'm a living paradox...
Can be very intellectual at times (give lectures about my favorite topic, India for instance) and totally unfocused and loose some other times.
Most my friends are much younger and I adore their fresh appraoch of life :-)
I keep lying about my age :-)though (Pfff the french lady is a bit narcissistic lol)
I love adventures, surprises and everything new !
As a host I'm a little too maternal maybe...
As far as I know, nobody ever had to complain about me as a guest...
I don't drink* and because of that... I'm always the last one on the dance floor and driving everybody back home :-)
*The non drinking is not a philosophical choice... its causing migraine :-( so does the cigarette smoke :-(
PHILOSOPHY
Well peace and love again... but don't take me too seriously this is just way of caricaturing myself... :-)
here goes that odd french sense of humor I was describing above
More seriously I would say : honesty and freedoom of speech are my motto ! I am disgusted by the politically correct hypocrisy !
And as a real frenchie I encourage rebellion against all forms of injustice and alienation !AMANDLA
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Well I have been a long time lonely back-pack hitch-hike traveller, and now these past few years with my beloved, well-behaved, patient, adorable daughter- and we love, above all, meeting new people... We were in Africa, India, Brazil and some european capitals together and she adapts to every situation and travelling with a kid is a delight as everyone is so helpful. My best travelling buddy !
I have a big house, very friendly and having people over is a regular here.
Besides, having foreigners in the house is almost like going away, as they bring some of their habits and culture with them.
I like my daughter to be in contact with all cultures.
I have many friends from around the world who come and visit... so lets get more !
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
When I was younger back-pack travelling around the world, I always had spontaneous offers to sleep at peoples houses... there is no better way to deeply understand the culture of others and learn their language. I'm greatfull to all of them. Now its my turn to offer hospitality and I'm glad there's a site dedicated to this form of relation between people.
The people I have hosted are still friends and we keep in touch (mostly through FB) we have built great bounds and I hope to see them all again sometimes.
Interests
Oh Lord that would be such a long list, but lets say ....mmmm...music and dance, TRAVELLING above all and learning about others.
Teach my child the essential things of life, justice, respect, ethics, peace and love (thats because I still am a hippy in my head...)
Everythinhg related to the indian culture, classical and underground !

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hitch-iked from Montreal to San francisco... many years back :)
Got a six year old child out of one of the poorest country of the world to give her a chance to a better life... and motherly love...
Took me one year, within which four months spent in an african country where a civil war was going on !And every single day spent with her since then is an enchanting hymn of victory...and love. AMANDLA !
Teach, Learn, Share
I mostly hope I'm not too dogmatic at times... (especially when it comes to India or anthropological studies)
I know my close friends appreciate my attitude towards life and I love sharing some of my life experience.
Most of my life I've beeing doing self-teaching wether in work or education... so I beleive ALL new encounter is bringing teaching.
