ABOUT ME

I was born in Greece, but spent my childhood in Cyprus. After High school, i went to study Biology in the university in Athens (Greece). Finished at 2004, returned to Cyprus and start giving Biology lessons. Worked for 3 years in an Environmental Educational Center and at the same time started my PhD in herpetology in the university of Athens again.

PHILOSOPHY

I would really like to say the classical "Seize the day" but as i said before i am a PhD student, and so the most of the time i am studding....mpou xou xou

Of course i really believe that we must not leave for tomorrow what we can do today. And that life is such a beautiful gift to just through it away.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Open for answering question about Cyprus (how to come here, what to see, what to avoid etc) or help in any way i can. Can't offer couch at the moment but a coffee and beer are always in the program.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

unfortunately not too much.
I know some people that really have made couchserfings a way of living but i still didn't had the chance.

Interests

Outdoor activities mainly (bicycling, running, climbing, nature photography)

Of course there are times that i just want to hang out with few friends, or be left alone.

I really like nature and the most of my free time, i spend them traveling in Cyprus and taking pictures of animals and plants.

Music, Movies, and Books

It really depends on the mood... i can enjoy the same way, hip hop, rock, metal or country and classical music as long as i am in the mood for that.

Movies and books.... i am really into science fiction area there.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-Went in quest of a very rare plant in Cyprus. we only new that the last spotted place of that plant was from a German botanist in 188...something, in the North slops of a mountain in Cyprus. After 8 hours of walking ans searching, we found it and took a lot of nice pictures.
