ABOUT ME

Hannah is my name and i am 21 years old. i stopped studying theatre production about a year and a half ago to travel and i am still going. my parents have always traveled and i think its in my blood.
i love art and music and hope to study again in the future so i can get myself a great job that allows me to travel. i love my home in melbourne and worked in a backpackers there. i love the coast, beach and surf culture and bbqs!!! beer is nice as well.

when i travel, i love to couch surf. when i dont travel i love to host. while doing both i love to tell EVERYONE about this amazing community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i am new to couch surfing but have friends who have been part of the community for a while. Their experiences of couch surfing sounded so special and unique i decided i wanted to be apart of it. i have now couch surfed with two different people and i cant believe the generosity i have experienced. This just makes you want to give back and pass on this kindness to others.

Interests

I love live music!! discovering new sounds is always exciting. I am very interested in visual arts, printing in particular.
FOOD!! everywhere i go i love to try the traditional meals of the area.
i love to swim and play frisbee... frisbee is my favourite thing. the world would be a better place if more people played it :)

Music, Movies, and Books

i love the sopranos, 6 feet under, sex and the city...basically all HBO series.
i love the Cohen brothers films and Wes Anderson is also i favourite. Arecent film that won my heart is Lars and the Real Girl. I do like Australian films, although there are not that many out there.
Huge fan of English music- Arctic Monkeys, Jamie T, Jamie Lidell, The Kooks, The Libertines- just to name a few. Lotsa great aussie bands as well like You Am I, Dan Kelly, Paul Kelly, Augie March, Machine Translations, The Presets, Cut Copy, Midnight Juggernaughts etc etc. Love The Band, James Taylor, Aretha Franklin, The Beatles and The Beach Boys.
My favourite book is Cloud Street by Tim Winton.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I got on a plane by myself and went traveling... now i look back and cringe at how unprepared i was... but i did it and that is still the most amazing thing i have done.
I built a table once as well, i was pretty happy about that.

Teach, Learn, Share

i would love to learn the harmonica. i am really good at folding jeans- i worked in a jeans store? i dont set out to teach people anything, if i do...its a pleasant accident.
