CURRENT MISSION

To learn; to dance; to glorify God; and to be able to speak Spanish without that awkward pause in my head where I have to translate the words into English first.

PHILOSOPHY

"She built her castles in the sky out of mashed potatoes--to keep the demolition costs down." I read a book when I was 9 that had that quote in it. I feel like I am realistic with my goals, but I ALWAYS dream big and behave as though my dreams have already been accomplished--that way, I work harder and they come true more often.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: I read too many books to have favorites, but I like The Giver, Where the Red Fern Grows, A Midsummer Night´s Dream (not a book, but ah well), Penny Dreadful, Little Women, and ANY British Victorian Literature (love the history behind the writing style)
Music: I listen to Christian music mostly, but I like Country, Rock, Jazz, Classical, Alternative Rock, Alternative, and pretty much anything else (except Rap).
Movies: I love to watch movies. All of them. But some of my recent favorites have been Remember the Titans, Save the Last Dance, Crash, Spiderman 1 and 2 (NOT 3), The Incredible Hulk, and Wanted.
The last book I read: The Case for a Creator, by Lee Strobel. Last song I heard: me singing Dreaming of You, by Selena. Last movie I saw: La Lengua de las Mariposas (wonderful, wonderful film)
