About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To appreciate the little things in life and be happy :)

ABOUT ME

I was born in Vietnam then left and went to Hong Kong when I was four. We moved again to UK when I was ten and have been here ever since. This means I'm fluent in Vietnamese, Cantonese and English.I'm quite adventurous, carefree and just a little crazy. I like to try out things that some people would consider extreme. Things like sky diving, bungee jumping and scuba diving with sharks are pretty cool. I love the beauty of nature. Swimming in the aqua blue sea surrounded by golden sand, palm trees and mountains is just my thing! I love my good friends and my family means the world to me. Oh..and I have a terrible memory...I can almost relate to Dory... But she's so cute :D

PHILOSOPHY

If you want something in life don't hesitate, just go for it, if it works out for you then great! if not move on and forget about it. Don't wait around for things to happen. Life is too short for regrets.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted three people so far....would love to host more people but I'm living with my family at the moment so it's difficult. I will be travelling soon so I'm looking forward to meeting Csers from all over the world.

Interests

My interests varies depending on how I feel at that particular time in my life. Sometimes I can be quite content with sitting at home on my bed listening to music, reading a book or watching a good movie. Other times I like to break away from my day to day routine and do something out of the ordinary. My opinion is, nothing is worse than doing the same thing day in and day out, and having my everyday sketched out in a schedule. sometimes I just need something unusual to happen to make my day a more memorable one. This is probably why I like to travel so much. When I'm away from my comfort zone something always happens. Life could hardly ever be dull when you're in a foreign country because there is so much to see and learn. You would never know who you'll meet, what you'd see and how your day would end. At the moment I'm trying to travel as many countries as I could and do all the things I want to do before I have to face the commitment and responsibilities I have towards my family ( which I've been trying so hard to avoid). :P I love to eat out and try different cuisines.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like anything light hearted and easy to read. The typical girly stuff. I've read some of Sophie Kinsela's books, my favourite is " can you keep a secret" Hilarious. Also like reading travel books, biography, history. Here are some stuff i read and enjoyed: No shitting in the toilet (peter moore) memoirs of a geisha, empress orchid, with or without u (Carole Matthews). I listen to all kind of music as long as it has some good beats. A friend got me into listening to Jack Johnson and now I can't get enough of him! I also like Jay Chou,Jacky Cheung, Norah Jones. I like a variety of Chinese, Vietnames, Latino, Korean music. Basically anything that sounds good ...
