About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Saving the world. (Why be modest?)

ABOUT ME

I'm a 28-year-old living in beautiful Uppsala with my porcelain polarbear Margaretha and a couple of fake badgers.

I finished my studies in Library and Information Science living in Uppsala two years ago, and am now working in a very nice violet and pink book store in Arlanda Airport. And yes, I definitely love my job!

I haven't travelled that much, but after an intense month visiting Berlin, Paris, Lugano and Zürich, I've understood that I want - NEED - to travel more!

I'm social and looking forward to meet new people, but like spending time on my own too.

PHILOSOPHY

Jag tror att jag är nåt.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hope to meet new friends while travelling, or showing people the best cafés in Uppsala.

***THIS IS NOT A DATING SITE***
Please take this serious.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed once, met a few couchsurfers for coffee/food, and did some hosting, but for some reason most of my guests seem to have disappeared before me getting to meet them! I'm starting to think there's some kind of Bermuda triangle around my house...the Kungsängen triangle.

Luckily the few that I actually did get to host have been amazingly sweet guests!

Interests

I love old stuff from scruffy flee markets, street art, tools and outdated technical stuff. I am very fond of beer and different kinds of food. I'm really good at baking, and once a month people come over and eat cookies, while we lend microcredits for entrepreneurs in developing countries.

I enjoy long walks without destination and long talks about pretty much anything - food and gender matters are two favourite themes (and YES, I am a feminist, and NO, that usually does not mean hating men), but with the right person it can be just as interesting talking bullshit.

A few years ago I started skating (on a board that is), I'm not good, but it's fun. I just wish I'd started doing it before I became a grown up, full of fear and responsability.

I did draw and paint a lot a few years ago, and hope to get back on track soon. For the moment I play around with plastic pearls, typewriters, spraycans and most kinds of glue.
