ABOUT ME

We are a group of 4 girls from Australia, so far we have been to a lot of europe already and are about half way through our trip. on our travels we heard about couch surfing and it sounded like something that we wanted to try. we are interested in living with locals and getting a different perspective about living on the other side of the world.

we all have different interests, backgrounds and education but in other ways we are all very similar. we love to meet new people, go out have a good time whether this means going out for dinner, going to clubs or pubs, going to gigs, sight seeing and exoloring.

PHILOSOPHY

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

at this point, we are away from home so at the moment we are hoping to be surfers but when we get home we would be interested in hosting other people on their travels.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The first couchsurfing experience we had was getting lost in the middle of nowhere, hitching a ride with an ambulance and our host coming to rescue us late at night. deffently a memorable first time!!

Cara: making jewellery, art, fashion, the beach, food, chocolate, more chocolate, chocolate milkshakes, chocolate cake, chocolate cokies etc.

Tara: surfing, snowboarding, art (especially street art and more modern art) , graphic design, i like to go out and drink and dance...i would prefer dancing to what i consider good music but sometimes dancing to the worst music ever written is just as fun

Sammy: Meeting new people, adventure, laughing, cooking.I love shoes and shopping and most of all a good party atmosphere is always a winner with me!!

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

between us we have varying musical tastes but are pretty much open to anything.
some of our favorite bands are
kings of leon, artic monkeys, babyshambels, led zeppelin, the beatles.... we could be here for ever, we really like all types of music.

Books.. at the moment, our taste in books is limited to whatever is in english at the hostel book swaps. most have been pretty bad love or action novels, normally with "best seller" printed in large font on the front page cos they ALL say that...some of them have to be slow movers surly....

movies. any comedy.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Well all put together we have covered the globe and seen and done lots of awesome things its too hard for us all to pick one.
bungee jumping and skydiving in africa, ice climbing and canyon jumping in switzerland, mushrooms in amsterdam, getting lost for 3 hours in venice, getting arrested for being 4 pounds short for a taxi ride ihn london.... again we could go on for ever.

We all have different skills and are always willing to try something new and are always wanting to learn something... today we learned that you should definately stamp your ticket when you get on public transport in Bratislava
