About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Move to the NorthWest

ABOUT ME

I make art. I make food. I make music. I make friends.

Then I make my friends food, play them music and mail them art.

I live in new jersey but I'm leaving because 20 years in one place is too long when the world is so big.

Enough about me I want to know about you.

PHILOSOPHY

"You don't work, you don't eat" -James Brown

"What good is life without a little chaos to make it interesting?"- Keith Leaston

"I want a woman who can sit me down, shut me up, and tell me ten things i don't already know...and make me laugh. I don't care what you look like. If you can do that i will follow you on bloody stumps through the snow. I will soften your mucclups with my own teeth, I will do your windows, i will care about your feelings." -Henry Rollins

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Every Couchsurfing experience I've had was a great couchsurfing experience. Met so many amazing people both by accident and on purpose. But I feel there is more to be done.

Interests

If it makes me bob my head, I like it.
If it makes me start dancing, I love it
If it's the fabled unreleased James Brown/Iggy Pop take or that Tyler the Creator and MF Doom collab produced by Flying Lotus, I'm already dead of bliss.

Music, Movies, and Books

http://www.last.fm/user/zombejay,

Last book I finished was Cloud Atlas which was pretty good. I'm really interested to see what they do with the movie. Also just finished "Ruining it for everybody" which was excellent. After reading about Hemmingway's life I'm itching to try his style out.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed up the side of a building to get onto the highway overpass to climb up the off ramp sign.
Gathered 20 people to throw paper airplanes off the roof of the hospital then ran from the cops.
Started a project where people submit their addresses and I mail them a piece of handmade art in the form of a postcard. Just got my 50th request in two weeks!

Teach, Learn, Share

Host people. Please. I don't do it nearly as much as I should. I feel as though I could support this site so much more and open my door wider. Granted, I live in a city that is not very heavily traveled but there's still a fair amount of traffic. I understand the hesitance especially those with smaller quarters. I feel it myself constantly. You really won't understand it until you've been in a situation where a couch would have made you sniff a tear away, but opening your door to someone can really alter their life. I'm looking to do it a ton more in my new place, where ever that is.
