About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to network and gain inspiration for building community that embraces all in their wholeness through healing, sharing power, and deepening in interdependence.

ABOUT ME

I am a human who is on a continuous journey of self-discovery and figuring out how to engage in radical self-care while also contributing to the world in ways that are authentic for me. My current travels are connected to a vision I have for creating a residential community that is rooted in holistic health/healing, conscious transformation on the personal, interpersonal, and systemic levels, communion with land and non-human beings, and integration of power sharing. I hope to glean inspiration, meet potential collaborators, and possibly find a community where this vision can be explored more fully.

Music, Movies, and Books

Right now I love Joanna Newson, Sufjan Stevens, Xenia Rubinos, and others. I enjoy sharing songs and learning new songs with other people that can be sung together. I'm currently into fantasy novels, which is a bit new for me, including Wizard of Earthsea series (I'm on the 4th book) and The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss. I also love reading about our neuroscience, trauma, and modalities for healing. Movies have been less interesting to me lately, but I've seen a lot in my life and can talk about them if that's fun for people.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have been a Nonviolent Communication facilitator for about 3 years now, teaching mostly in prisons. I've also participated in designing systems for communities, such as conflict resolution systems, decision-making systems, governance systems, etc. I'm also passionate about supporting people with processing painful experiences and in offering empathic presence, however it is welcomed by others.
