About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To start my life in Berlin
ABOUT ME
I just left Israel to start my studies at the Humboldt University in Berlin (Master in History). I spent the last two months in Vienna, where I had to face the fact, that German from Germany and German from Austria is really not the same language.
I directed and played in some improv theater groups in Israel, and I intend to keep on doing that in Berlin. In play jazz piano, edit films and make graphic design for a living.
PHILOSOPHY
Never to be certain that I'm right. Never to be bored with someone or something. Always try to learn something new. Art is generosity - never be shy - always express. Never hate, never fight. Love honestly, without games. Say things about individuals, not about groups of individuals. Avoid saying and thinking in "we". Oppose any kind of oppression non-violently. Travel, emigrate, and then emigrate again. Learn as many languages as possible. At the bottom line, language is what it's all about.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: especially films from Billy Wilder, Hitchcock and Kubrick, but I'm a real film-freak. I love to watch classics, but also trashy Hollywood films... Everything goes. British films also... And French, and Italian... Actually, I really love films... Sometimes I can see 10 films a week.
Music: Jazz (blues/bossa nova/cool/bebop), funk, rock. Artists: Horace Silver, Thelonious Monk, Bill Evans, Miles Davis, Simon & Garfunkel, Leonard Cohen, Nina Simone, Peggy Lee, Norah Jones, Madeleine Peyroux, Louis Armstrong, Scott Joplin, Elvis Presley, Bob Marley, the Doors, Dire Straits, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, David Bowie, McCoy Tyner, Herbie Hancock, Jaco Pastorius, Johnny Cash, Tom Waits, James Brown, Oscar Petersen, Jacques Brel, Georges Brassens, Edith Piaf, The Comedian Harmonists, The Beatles, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Stan Getz, Joao Gilberto...
Books... Well, I'm reading now Paul Auster's "New York Trilogy" in German translation... That's beautiful. Hmm.. I love Hebrew literature, but also lots of other stuff... The book that I read was "Jugend ohne Gott" by Ödön von Horvath... It was in German... I think my next book would be by Albert Camus.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I don't know... I think I'm not easily amazed... Perhaps I need to experience a little bit more to answer this one.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to teach Hebrew, improv theather, jazz piano, film editing, graphic design or cooking.
I would love to learn French, Russian (languages in general), classical music theory, plastic art techniques, trumpet and everything actually.
