ABOUT ME

I enjoy new experiences, new languages and meeting people. I live with my boyfriend and a lovely, docile cat in an apartment in Mainz. I love to dance, play all kinds of tabletop and video games, to sing and learn to play the violin. Recently, I learnt to dive and want to deepen 😉 that further. I also enjoy books and a good movie but that is nothing to come together for. I am a psychologist working with disabled people.

PHILOSOPHY

I cannot understand how much people believe they need. I want to get along with less, live simple and good. The fun is in the interaction not in possesing anything. I like to experience alternatives. I like to recycle things, for example by dumpster-diving instead of having to buy shiny-new tomatoes. And I love a philosophcal discussion.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been couchsurfing in Paris, Geneva, Vienna, Gent, Lancaster and several german cities which was a lot of fun, but very adventourus, also. I have also had guests from Lithuania, Lettland and Japan which I also enjoyed a lot. I want to CS even more now that I discovered the advantages of hitchhiking.

Love the Jostein Gaarder Books, Susanna Clarke‘s Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell as well as Harry Potter. In movies, i watch all the Studio Ghibli movies and other animated movies, Disney, Star Trek and other Genres.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

how people stand together in hard times.
i also always love to see how beautifully the body heals itself when i have a bruise. another very beautiful thing is pregnancy and birth in all living things, even in the growing of seeds to plants.
