ABOUT ME

im a laid back person. i dont get stressed or worried about silly things very often. i really like to laugh and sharing storys. im still searching for my place in the universe but having fun trying to find it!! at the moment im exploring the theory that there is more to life than working 9-5 since i left my rubbish job in england last september. i want to rebuild my soul whilst not doing too much damage to the rest of me!

i attended the cs pub quiz near my home town which was a great way to meet other travelers and swap tips.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

havn't surfed at all yet because iv been traveling with a group so far. hope to have the opportunity to do so now though, as im traveling alone for the rest of my trip.

my main passion is being outdoors and active. this includes hiking,running and climbing although i am new to climbing. muay thai is somthing i have recently started to enjoy also and have been fortunate enough to spend some time at a camp in thailand. its really rewarding having interests you can pursue at your own pace and improve over a lifetime if you choose. i enjoy learnig about history, others cultures and phillosophy and i am currently learning chinese which i find fascinating. i enjoy meditation and i am trying to learn as much about it as i can on my trip through asia. im a creative person and i like to write. art gallerys and book shops are my sanctuarys although spending a night at a live music venue with friends drinking a glass of whisky or rum is my idea of an awesome evening

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

i would describe my entire china experience as being the most amazing thing iv ever done. from reading about the culture and learning some mandarin before going. then going and experiencing it first hand.being able to converse with locals and improve whilst traveling. two months wasnt long enough
as experiences at places within china i found overcoming my fear of heights at hua shan one of the most rewarding parts of my trip so far. we were then lucky enough to get both a fantastic sunset and sunrise
