ABOUT ME

I’m an actress/writer generally based out of California, but finally jumping ship and moving to Asia. All of Asia. Or, at least, I plan to travel until I find a place to settle down for awhile. I’m extremely laid back, and I have a never ending love for hammocks, beaches, and afternoons with a good book.

Top favorites include Ryan Adams, Metric, Tom Petty, Rhett Miller, The Civil Wars, Elliott Smith… The list could go on for a very long time. I have a lot of music.

Top favorite books, for starters, include The Wind-Up Bird Chronicles, anything Lonely Planet, Emergency Sex & Other Desperate Measures, Getting Stoned with the Savages and Candide. I’ll read anything. Anything at all, but please no poorly written murder mysteries bought at the airport.

Favorite show: Doctor Who.
Movies: He Died with a Falafel in His Hand, Timer, High Fidelity, The Fall.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I reset a broken nose in my living room once. I'd like to never do that again, but I'm pretty proud of it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like to learn how to whistle using my fingers.

I know a really good German folk song about a guy who once turned himself into a dancing sausage. Three verses, and includes a line about a whistling Dutch boy. I can teach you that. It has good karmic values, and is all about not turning your neighbor's pets into processed meat.
