About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Meeting people and diferent cultures... enjoying my life wherever I am going to

ABOUT ME

I am 32, researcher at the Technische Universität in Dortmund, Gemany. I like meeting people from different places of the globe and I am very interested about our culture differences. I am interested therefore not just on places but indeed on the people, their habits, people's behavior, the ideas and philosophy of life from those who use to live in that country. I am also very interested in the local gastronomy from the "stations" (lands) I used to drop out for a couple of days. I am very open minded person to enjoy various experiences that this short life can offer us. Travelling is one of my hobbies (if we can say like that). I like photography, making sports, reading, learning languages, history and a lot of small things we get used to know in our daily routine and in everything which can make out daily life better :)
I am usually very spontaneous, outgoing, friendly, most of the time in a good mood, and I feel very happy helping others.

PHILOSOPHY

"Empty your mind,
be formless, shapeless - like water,
Now you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup
You put water in a bottle, it becomes the bottle
You put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot.
Now water can flow or it can crash,
Be water my friend"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I spent a few days in Chicago(USA) at Paula's house, my first experience couchsurfing. She hosted me so kindly and helped me to enjoy a bit more the city during my staying. Brendan, from New York also hosted me greatly for some days in his flat. I have couchsurfed in Europe for two or three times, and although I have not done it very oft on the last two years, I really like this idea and I have just good things to share about it. I have been oft at least in couchsurfing meetings where I am living and it is also great to get to know new people and make new friends.
