About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Try to find a way to transfer knowledge to enable people to built a house for themselves after a natural disaster.
ABOUT ME
Hi, I'm Eefje. I love to travel because the way people in other cultures live and think is very inspriring to me. Especially couchsurfing helps with that. I like to dance salsa, run, have wines, travel as much as I can, explore new cities, meet people, play hockey and cook curry. I am an architect and now working as a teacher in architecture in Eindhoven, Den Bosch and Tilburg and working on my PhD research. My workpassion is based on providing shelter especially in emergency and slum situations.
PHILOSOPHY
Jump off the cliff and build wings on your way down. (phrase I saw in Rosita at a couchsurfers home that has been inspiring me ever since)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm always in for drinking a coffee, having a nice wine or just a Dutch beer and showing people around in my city Tilburg. We have a double bed extra and two big couches to host people. I prefer having guests in the weekend so that I can enjoy time with them and exchange. I like couchsurfing because I love to meet people that think diferent or have another culture than I do. Or just to find great minds that think alike. My boyfriend is Spanish and we live together and love to have people around. Please let me know if you prefer wine or beer in your couch request. Just to know that you've at least read my profile;).
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I met some really nice and inspiring people in Buenos Aires, Rosario and Montevideo and in my own home ofcourse!:)
