About Me

I would describe myself as adaptable, adventurous, and motivated by a love of music and art. I am an architect and I study how issues of social justice unfold in space. I will be in Scandinavia this fall studying housing. As an architect, I am interested in cultures that house their people efficiently and fairly. All people have a right to space. What are the cultural and political mechanisms in contemporary society that grant that right?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I feel that you cannot know a place without knowing its people. I want to know what music people are listening to, what kind of art is being made, and what people are thinking about wherever I go.

I also believe in the couchsurfing spirit. When I couchsurfed through Mexico in 2008 I had some of my most amazing travel experiences.

Interests

I love working with my hands, being outside, meeting people, talking, dancing, social theory, debating, absurdities, playing piano, dancing to live music, picnics, cosmigraphics, cooking, fireplaces, spheres, running, and friends.
