an uncommon belgian, living & working in Brussels, that tries not to choose sides in the whole north-south Belgian discussion. But does choose sides in the north-south discussion on a world level.
High into adventure travel and outdoor sports and since a few years salsa.
Likes to read, loves English humour.
interested in issues on development, globalisation, evolution, environment.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

some of my best travel memories were spent with local people that opened their house & hearts to me, be it in Guinea, Corsica, Nepal or Sweden.
I remember one midsummernight at the Polar Circle going with brand new friends to a night shop at 3 AM to make spaghetti.
And also being invited to spend the night in an open air mosk in the middle of the African sahara.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

- spend the night on a dead volcano in Iceland and watch the sun set and immediately rise again
- come face to face with a wild boar
- spend a night singing Latino folk songs and getting very drunk with locals in Potosi
- spend an afternoon chewing coca leaves with a guy that (claimed he) had known Che Guevara
