ABOUT ME

I'm originally from The Netherlands, but I left in 2003 for my first M.Sc. project in Costa Rica, then moved to Scotland for my second M.Sc. project, and now I'm Montreal, Canada, doing my Ph.D. Here I met the love of my life. I study brain evolution and mate choice in birds. I love meeting new people, hiking, reading, listening & making music, writing, cooking, helping others and making environmentally friendly decisions. I don't have a driver's license. I try to bike everywhere I can.
