ABOUT ME

I'm travelling with my husband - Jonny - on a 6 month adventure round the world. We both love the following: scuba diving, drinking cold beers and wine (although not together!) meeting local people, hiking, live music, photography and good cheap food!
I also make a good Indian curry and tasty chocolate brownies!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We're setting off round the world from Nov 08 - May 09 and on our trip we'd really like to get to know places through the people that live there. Wee'd love you to help us experience your town / city, so if you can tell us about a good hike, nice bar, show us your favourite places or even put us up for the night that would be great!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We haven't done much ourselves until this trip - but it's great! However our sofabed has been well used by friends of friends who turn up in Brighton (our home town). It's a great way to give something back and make sure people see the best bits of where you live - rather than just the recommended tourist bits.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once took part in a parabolic flight with a student programme with the European Space Agency. I was able to float weightless inside a plane - a bit like an astronaut - but only for 20 seconds!
