ABOUT ME

I am a 30 year old spanish girl, studying a P.H.D in Latin American Studies. I also studied Anthropology and Social Education and enjoyed both studies a lot! I love to travel, meet new places and new people. I am friendly, positive and I love to do new things and learn new languages! My hobbies are dancing and travelling. And i love to get to know the different music of the places i go. Right now i am living in Mexico and loving it!! beautiful country and amazing people :)

PHILOSOPHY

I believe you have to be positive in life, sometimes we are really lucky and we are not able to see it! so we have to open our minds, and try to be happier, you only live one time!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can offer my house to host people! It isnt really big and i live like 30 minutes away from the centre of Madrid but there is a metro station not far away!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had great experiences with couchsurfing. I was hosted in Ireland by a great guy that was hosting other people at the same time, so we just did a big party all together!I also have had experience with hospitality club and it was great! I was hosted in the south of Italy by a guy that was wonderful! He showed us all the city and we had great talks about Italy, music, travelling...
Also i hosted an Italian girl in my house for a couple of days and that was also great, she had a good time in Madrid and it was great meeting her.
And finally i was hosted a couple of times in Mexico, and all the experiences were great, getting to know the country and the people from there, and i have kept some couchsurfing friends that i have seen again :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I like movies like amelie, movies made my lars von trier, i loved little miss sunshine or movies by almodovar. Music, i like rock and rumba (Muchachito, Canteca de Macao...) especially and really all type of music. And books... well right now i am into a writer called Almudena Grandes, she is really good.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well, the best thing i have done is the erasmus i did in florence, it was a great year! I meet new people, new places and especially it changed my mind and made it more open! I also went to South America, I was 3 months in Peru working in a school for disabled kids and I was 3 months in Ecuador working in an association that worked with kids that live in the streets. Both experiences where life-changing and amazing. And I loved the people I meet along the way.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach spanish, dancing and a bit about Madrid. I would love to learn different languages, and learn different ways to live. And i would like to share experiences!
