ABOUT ME

Soy una estudiante de letras de 22 años. Pausé mis estudios durante un tiempo porque encontré un trabajo como profesora de español en París. Ahora estoy de vuelta en Mendoza, después de haber viajado y crecido mucho. No me gusta escribir más sobre mí, pero no tengo problemas en responder ninguna pregunta.

I'm a 22 year-old literature student. I put my studies in a momentary pause because I found a job at Paris. I'm now back in Mendoza, after much travelling and lots of personal growth. Sometimes words give the wrong impression. I prefere not to write that much about me, but if you have questions just go ahead! I'll be happy to answer them.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Tuve experiencias maravillosas en Europa, donde me alojó la gente más diversa, pero todos fantásticos. De vuelta en Mendoza estoy viviendo con mis padres y mi hermano en un departamento chiquito, así que no puedo ofrecerles alojamiento. Pero siempre hay tiempo para un café o una cerveza!

I've been hosted all around europe and have had the most wonderful experiences! I'm now back in Mendoza, staying at my parents, so I cannot really offer a couch yet. But coffe or drink, anytime!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Fantástico desde el principio! Cuando empecé no sabía muy bien qué esperar, pero ha sido una experiencia maravillosa. Me han alojado en Bruselas (Bélgica); roclaw, Varsovia y Cracovia (Polonia); Perpignan y Caen (Francia); Barcelona, Valencia, Granada, Sevilla y Madrid (España); Colonia, Hannover y Berlín (Alemania); Viena (Austria); Heraklio, Hania y Atenas (Grecia); Estambul (Turquía). Gracias a esto conocí a gente maravillosa. Con algunos todavía sigo en contacto y los considero mis amigos.

It has been a hell of a ride!! I went into it without really knowing what to expect and it has been a wonderful experience all the way! I've surfed in Brussels (Belgium); Wroclaw, Warsaw and Krakow (Poland); Perpignan and Caen (France); Barcelona, Valencia, Granada, Sevilla and Madrid (Spain); Köln, Hannover and Berlin (Germany); Vienna (Austria); Iraklio, Chania and Athens (Greece); Istanbul (Turkey). I've met wonderful people all arround, some of with I now keep in touch with and consider my friends!

Interests

Literatura, cine, música, política, etc. La lista podría seguir. Me gusta todo lo que sea artístico o de interés sociológico (bueno... suena mucho más soberbio de lo que sonaba en mi cabeza. De todas formas, siempre estoy dispuesta a aprender algo nuevo).

Casi demasiado difícil de elegir...
Libros: me encanta la literatura argentina, especialmente Pizarnik, Cortazar, Arlt, Walsh, Armando Tejada Gomez (les sugiero el poema "Telar de sangre", a mí me conmovió como pocos), etc. También me gusta muchoVirginia Woolf (Orlando y Hacia el faro me volaron la cabeza), Tolstoi (Guerra y Paz y Ana Karenina, no tanto sus cuentos), Becquet, Dostoievsky, Joyce, Victor Hugo, Huxley (me encantó Un mundo feliz), Orwell, Chejov, Pasternak, Galeano, Camus, Simone de Beauvoir, Jean-Paul Sartre, Hennry James, Saramago, Calvino, Pirandello, y todavía más.
Películas: Un poco de todo. Absolutamente cualquiera de Almodovar (mis favoritas: Tacones lejanos, Átame, Entre tinieblas, Hable con ella, Volver, Los abrazos rotos), Woody Allen, Julio Medem (Los amantes del círculo polar es una de las películas más hermosas que he visto), Emir Kusturica, Alex de la Iglesia (Acción mutante!!), Aristarain (Martin Hache y Un lugar en el mundo son de las mejores películas del cine argentino), Subiela, Sorin, War Kai Wong (2046 me pareció brillante), Chabrol, Truffaut, Goddard, Gondry (La ciencia de los sueños y Eterno resplandor de una mente sin recuerdos sobre todo), Jeunet, Tarantino, Lucía Puenzo (El niño pez es genial) películas basadas en guiones de Charlie Kaufman... Y otras películas sueltas por ahí: Leonera, La Antena, Ciudad de Dios, Reconstrucción de un amor, El tren de la poesía, etc.
Música: un poco difícil de especificar... Janis Joplin, The Doors, PJ Harvey, Jane Birkin, Altertango, Nick Cave, Gotan Project, Tango, Serge Gainsbourg, Ani Difranco, Rock argentino, Bob Marley, Nina Simone, Jefferson Airplane, Joaquín Sabina, Enrique Bunbury, Fiona Apple, Portishead, Alpha Blondy, Ella Fitzgerald, Edith Piaf, Tryo, La Rue Ketanou, Pink Martini, Depedro y la lista sigue.

A little hard to choose...
Books: pretty much anything of argentinian literature, specially Pizarnik, Cortazar, Arlt, Walsh, Armando Tejada Gomez (I specially suggest the poem: Telar de sangre. I love it!), etc. I also like very much Virginia Woolf (Orlando and To the lighthouse really blew my mind away), Tolstoi (War and Peace and Ana Karenina, not so much his short stories), Becquet, Dostoievsky, Joyce, Victor Hugo, Huxley (loved A brave new world!!), Orwell, Chejov, Pasternak, Camus, Simone de Beauvoir, Jean-Paul Sartre, Hennry James, Saramago, Calvino, Pirandello, and so on.
Movies: a bit of everything. Every film Almodovar ever made (favourites: Tacones lejanos, Átame, Entre tinieblas, Hable con ella, Volver), Woody Allen, Julio Medem (Los amantes del círculo polar is one of the most beautiful movies I've ever seen), Alex de la Iglesia (Acción mutante!!), Aristarain (Martin Hache and Un lugar en el mundo are some of the best movies of argentinian cinema), Subiela, Sorin, War Kai Wong (I found 2046 brilliant!), Emir Kusturica, Chabrol, Truffaut, Jeunet, Goddard, Gondry (La science des rêves and Eternal sunshine of a spotless mind specially), Tarantino, Lucía Puenzo (El niño pez is wonderfull) movies based on Charlie Kaufman scripts... Also some random movies here: Leonera, La Antena, Ciudad de Dios, Reconstrucción de un amor, El tren de la poesía, and so on.
Music: hard to specify... Teach, Learn, Share

Enseñar: Se tocar la guitarra, así que podría enseñarles aunque sea un poco. También un poco de inglés y francés, pero soy malísima con la gramática.
Aprender: Siempre estoy dispuesta a aprender cosas nuevas. Descubrir nuevos libros, películas y música es algo de lo que más disfruto

Teach: I know how to play the guitar a bit. I also work as a spanish teacher so I can also teach it to you. A bit of english and french also, but I suck at grammar!
Learn: I'm always willing to learn new things. Discovering new books, films and music is one of my favourite passtimes.
