Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I want to make the world a better place or at least leave with a little dignity.
ABOUT ME
I had great CS experiences while living in Szeged, Hungary. Since then, I've had the joy of hosting such wonderful people in the Berkshires.
When not playing host, I work as a librarian at a public library and try to get to Tanglewood as often as possible.
PHILOSOPHY
Just do it. You can always look back and say S#!T I shouldn't have done that!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Mostly I host guests... I like to plan ahead and be able to cook and show people around my town.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Wow. Couchsurfing can definitely change your life. I have hosted such wonderful people, and I feel so lucky for the gift of having gotten to know all of them. There is a reason the ancient Greeks held up hospitality so highly.
Interests
I am trying to learn Hungarian at the moment -- some Hungarian folk song and folk dancing classes are making it more fun.

Music, Movies, and Books
The most random favorites that come immediately to mind:
Movies: Zoolander, Requiem for a Dream, Magnolia, Fried Green Tomatoes, I Heart Huckabees
Music: Amy Winehouse, Gershwin, Sondheim, Jeff Buckley, Janis Joplin
Books: Anything by Chuck Palahniuk, David Foster Wallace, Kurt Vonnegut, David Sedaris
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Wine tasting at Eger with various friends was a hoot.
Waking up on the train to Zagreb with Aimee staring at me and saying, "What have you got to say? I can tell by the way that you're looking at me that you've been practicing this conversation for the past 3 hours." (She couldn't sleep on the train; I had no trouble!)
