About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to see it all, baby.
ABOUT ME
I like to go to cities and immerse myself in everyday life of that place--i enjoy getting lost and drinking lots of coffee and trying new cuisine. I love to dance and play music and take lots of pictures of my friends, water, bugs, grafitti, refrigerators...
I grew up in Saint Paul, MN, a city in the Midwest of the United States. for the past two years i lived in Chicago, going to school, working, and whatever else. I moved to Paris for 4 1/2 months with my friend from Chicago. Living and traveling in Europe was full of the coolest experiences of my life. I cannot wait to go back.
But for now, I am back in Chicago (which I love, too!) The US really is a great place, and worth a visit, I swear.
I like those days when you wake up in the morning and have no idea where the day will lead.
PHILOSOPHY
I don't want to look back on my 20s and think, "wow, i wish i had done more..." I want to push myself to go outside my comfort zone and really plunge into the world and see what it's all about.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I couch surfed with some amazing people in Italy. At the time I joined couchsurfing I was living in Paris and could not host, but I am now back in Chicago, with lots more space! And lots more couch!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I had a magical time in Italy while couch surfing. If my friend and i had just gone their on our own, we probably would not have met anyone or made the friends we did through couchsurfing. Our host was fantastic and so welcoming and had so much knowledge about his city that it made our trip even more unforgettable. I had such an amazing time learning new words and about other cultures with the people we met there. It was truly one of the coolest things i've ever done.
