ABOUT ME

I´ve no idea what to say here. I´m currently 21 years old, an avid writer, reader, and lover of music, art, and nature. I love to meet new people, see new places, do new things. I feel socially, spiritually, and intellectually stunted by my home and its immediate surroundings, so I find travelling to be the great rejuvinator. As I grow older, I find that less is becoming more, at least in terms of materials, frills, creature comforts, etc. I´m becoming more and more content with just what I can carry on my back. I think I can safely describe myself as a kind-hearted person (some would say to a fault). I do reasonably well in social situations, but I´m learning how to bide my time in solitude as well. I´m clean, but have never minded a mess. I´m respectful of other people and I´m open culturally and mentally to new experiences.

PHILOSOPHY

This is such a difficult question. I believe that people are responsible for how they walk their path. Every life has its own struggles, and people cope in very different ways. I certainly have my own list of personal demons, so I make a constant effort not to judge others. Life is a moving thing, changing, and flowing. Going agaist the current is a good thing every now and again, but I try to trust myself and my better judgement to lead me into good experiences. People thrive in the company of other people, and everyone has so much to say, so much to teach, and so much to learn. There is a great opportunity for growth in meeting new people, seeing new things. Life is a mystery, the purpose is a mystery, but you´ll never learn anything if you don´t try your best to live it.

Muzyka, filmy i książki

The temptation to fill this page is so massive, but I really don´t like being judged on what I like. These lists seem to become contests more than anything else. I enjoy a lot of film, a lot of music, and a lot of literature. I find the vast majority of it to be beautiful. Maybe if we meet, we can see if you do too.

There was a study done by an American university where a team went to Tibet and did a study on a monk there. They took his serotinin and dopamine levels, and catalogued the different endorphins and their amounts found in his bloodstream. Chemically speaking, this man who abstained from all drugs, slept on a stiff bed roll, labored all day, and prayed all night was the happiest man that had ever lived.
