About Me

CURRENT MISSION

mission is to utalize life and all it has to offer. to never be bored or stuck in one place or job or age. i don't know what that means but its what i do.

ABOUT ME

I'm loud; in every possible way. I want to meet all kinds of people from all kinds of places and have chats about anything and everything and besides, meeting new people always seems to spice things up! So we can pub it, club it, sit on the couch or just get ourselves lost somewhere. You down?!

PHILOSOPHY

Live. Simple as. and make sure you keep it simple.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I am settled in a place of my own I would love to host others on their own adventures but after coming back from living overseas I'm stuck at the rents and although pretty cool I'm not sure they are okay with people staying over just yet. I am more than available for meeting for coffe or nights out and general travel buissiness though so don't hestitate to give me a ring!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I moved to England 2 years ago and when there was a lack of hostels in Leeds someone suggested couch surfing. I found a GREAT girl on here whos dorm room floor I slept on for 2 weeks and that how I met some of my bestfriends in the city and it really gave me the confidence to start a whole new life! So yeah, it was a fairly decent experience I'd say. ;)

Interests

I love Dance, Music and Theatre, watching a good movie or frequenting the local watering hole for an evening of fine conversation and beverages. ;)
I love Tea. Best skill I ever learned was how to brew a proper cuppa.
I think it goes without saying to anyone on this site but I do love to travel...

Music, Movies, and Books

From Dubstep to opera to country, old skool rap and everythig in between. I have to be in a pretty pissed off mood to listen to Metal though.... I think reading depends on what your doing with yourself at the moment as long as its something new and interesting then I'm pretty game. I just read 1984 and it completely ninja'd my brain, in the best possible way. Reading The alchemist right now and Harry potter. Yes I love Harry potter, i'm 'that' girl... Movies....well I'm fairly easy to please. recently I liked love me if you dare, Lock stock and two smoking barrels, Snatch, Baseketball, Top Hat, Notebook (i'm a woman, that ones a given), Football factory, Rec, Who framed Roger Rabbit, Anything that screams 'Dance' or 'Musical' I'll be all over like a squealing little girl even though I'm well aware that the basis of the film will be shiet.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

At 20 I Moved to England, made friends with half the cast of the UN while living there and fell in love with the whole country. 3 years down and I'm working on getting back asap. I've taken trips over to Europe to visit many friends I used to live with and theres already plans for bigger and more adventurous vacations to come. I've seem the Anne frank house, The Eifel Tower, Big Ben and its only the beggining.

I used to dance on a cruise ship with my dance troupe. I was on the ship for my 19th birthday too! I'll be looking to get my ballet teaching certificate in a couple years time after training up a bit and I used to sing. I've travelled to seattle and toronto with my choir back in the good ol' days.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach- I can teach you a little Ballet, I can teach you to be incredibly loud and I can teach you how to make a full english breakfast and maybe I'll end up teaching you something I didn't even know I knew.

Learn- well I can learn anything you have to offer knowledge is power so start talking and I'll be happy to listen. By the end of it all I'll walk away with something useful! If I could get someone to explain the rules of cricket to me for the 1000th time though, that would be great...

Share- I can share my stories, my friendship and when I get back from travelling i can share a couch and some hospitality.
