ABOUT ME

I grew up in Minnesota and think it's a wonderful place, but I also love exploring new places and talking with new people (I suppose all couch surfers have this in common). My interest in diferent places and people led me to my career. I have been an ESL/EFL teacher or teacher trainer for over 10 years in Minneapolis, Bosnia, Turkey, Afghanistan and Iraq.
The first thing people notice about me is my height- 5´11 which helps me when I play volleyball. I love singing, dancing and live music- especially folk sessions in an Irish bar.
My new love is my wonderful son Rowan- born in January 2012. I'm not traveling much these days- but being a mom is quite an adventure!!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've surfed with some great folks. I haven't been able to host in the past, since the places I lived didn't work well for hosting.
Now my 3 year old and I have a place very close to downtown Minneapolis. I hope to be able to host folks who enjoy playing with toddlers at our new home!
