About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Start a record label, take over the world

ABOUT ME

I believe in humor, music, and creation of any kind as a means of bettering my mood and my life in general. If you can't draw, I think that means that you SHOULD draw. People that come into my home are usually convinced to play music with me at least once before they leave it, whether they think they can or not.

PHILOSOPHY

It's okay.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

However I can!

I know where the absolute best sushi in the PNW is, we have a bunch of surfaces for people to crash on...
We love you, and we want you to know about it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted some beautiful, beautiful people in the past few years, and I wouldn't trade those memories for anything.

I went on a road trip for work back in 2004. We ended up stranded in Kansas with no money and no contacts...
The Ellis Family, Pete and JoAnn, took us in and gave us shelter, food, a little work on the side, and some awesome memories for almost three months. They are my heroes, and any time since when I've had a space to share it's been open.

Much of my youth was spent traveling and sleeping on couches/floors, which has left me with a large family of friends and a penchant for helping people out.

Music, Movies, and Books

Kick it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was cleaning out my apartment to move into the woods I took a break on the deck. It was September and getting colder every day. A wasp flew up and landed on my knee, but he didn't seem to be doing any harm so I let him be. I finished my cigarette and began trying to carefully shoo him off my lap so I could return to my duties, but he had died. I'm grateful I didn't swat him off my leg on an impulse, and I felt honored to be able to share his last, peaceful moments with him. I buried him under the cabin I built on a friend's property.
