CURRENT MISSION

I am the creator, director and actor of my life script.

My mission on Couchsurfing is to have a cup of coffee in each country I am at with a local.

Sometimes when you are your authentic self, others can't find the correct "label" & judge you, labels don't define me - well, I'm just me - Happy To Be Me - YOU are welcome to get to know ME!

I live in Singapore, Penang Malaysia, Jakarta. My consulting work makes me a traveller. I have lived in Australia for a long while, and travelled to many cities and places. One of life's gifts to me is travel.

ABOUT ME

Friendly, passionate, compassionate, intelligent and a global citizen, I am open minded and love to live life according to my own terms. I try to write my own life script and have learnt about never giving up on one's dreams because I'm trying to live it. Education and music are deeply rooted in my blood! I am an English teacher who runs a small business in education and training as well as am a songwriter. I'm trying to reach my PIE IN THE SKY with my dreams. Don't give up on yours.

PHILOSOPHY

Whatever the mind can conceive it will achieve if you believe. This is a mantra that I try to envision and practice. It isn't easy, but, if lots of positivity and focus, one can achieve anything. 99% never do, 1% of the world really do live the life they want.

I would love to expand my social circle & get to learn about cultures, views and hopefully we'll become friends with good vibrations.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've not been on a "couch surfing trip", but I've lived on a a couch during my travels to India. I've acutally slept on top of a kitchen table with a sleeping bag. I had a referal from a friend who knew of a family in Mumbai India. It was a memorable experience because I lived as one of the family members.

Interests

I enjoy travel, the arts (especially music and songwriting), movies, chilling out with friends over a good movie or some great conversation with lots of laughter as well as doing some volunteering work.
Going on a trip to Northern Thailand to teach as a volunteer in the refugee camp of the long neck village in Mae Hong Sun. It was a fanatistic and a memorable journey. I piloted this course I'd written and it was great to witness the program in action. This has driven me to work towards my dream is developing a business out of this program and at the same time use the program on a non profit basis to help the kids of villages to help themselves.

Music, Movies, and Books

All kinds of movies from foreign films, to the no brainer comedies. Music includes the legends like the Beatles to Madonna as well as Norah Jones. My tastes are electic however, I write mainstream pop.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spending & investing time & resources on writing the pages of my E.S.I Kids curriculum guide until the designing stage, target date for completion is early 2019. Can't wait to get my Intellectual Property (IP) protected. Wow it's my Aha moment. Then, I'm going to smile inside. Soon I hope to sell the IP.
