Met amazing people in The States, realised the magnitude of this not just as a way to meet hosts one to one, but as a World wide community. Really excited about hosting travellers myself! Had no idea that there was such an interest in coming to the cold North? ;o)

John Irving-stuff in general, Pi's Life, The Kite Runner, Paulo Coelho, Gabriel García Márquez, The Secret Life of Bees (Sue Monk Kidd).
Easy to entertain movie-wise, but just watched Volver (an Almodovar) - beautiful film!
Give me grounded, melodic rock, Tom Waits now and then, good jaaaazz and funk to dance to, then I'm pretty happy .. ;o)

Algo increíble que he hecho

Driving across Salar Del Uyuni - a salt lake the size of 1/3 of my own country!? Because of the reflexion in the surface of the nearly dried out lake you couldn't tell the sky from the "lake" and it felt like driving the jeep between clouds in the sky!

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I know weird things about animals - and a lot of it applies to the human body as well - just ask ;o) I can juggle 3 bean bags/balls (wauw), know some karate, will be able to stay on a horse (love a good gallop!). Love baking cakes and cooking - any recipees to share or favourite ingredients to enlighten me with? I'm a fan of mangoes!
