Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have surfed extensively in the past and started hosting around 4 years ago. I love providing and accepting the wonders of hospitality and fresh friendships, and it seems to me that the Couchsurfing Experience has a unique way of helping us all extend our global networks. I really enjoy the humanity of the whole thing - instead of hotels and hostels that often feel too impersonal. As a host, I really love showing visitors to Maui things they would not have seen otherwise (there is SO much) and learning about their lives back home, wherever that may be.
I am constantly amazed by the generosity of spirit, time, and resources that my hosts have shown me. I can only hope to offer that as a host myself.

Right now, I am pursuing my dual passions of music and writing. I've also just opened a business - I am a tutor for all subjects, and am finally going into the realm where I have a physical space for that to grow.
