ABOUT ME

At this stage in my life's journey I am all about seeking out, and living out, new experiences. I have been married, I have had a full-time, professional job, and now I am enjoying the freedom of the open road. Hence, Road Warrior, the nickname I seem to have picked up.. :) I love trees. Luckily, there have been a lot of beautiful trees to admire on this latest journey of mine, exploring eastern Canada. I love the outdoors, running, biking, hiking, camping... I left an adorable rusty-coloured rex rabbit at home, so I love meeting, and spending time with, pets during my travels. I love animals and hope to someday get a life size tattoo of an owl in flight on my side. I try to make environmentally-conscious, more natural lifestyle choices when possible. I love avocados, but am trying to eat more locally (and organically when possible). I am really excited about meeting new people, discovering new places, and hopefully discovering more about myself...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to the concept of couch-surfing. I absolutely love it though and look forward to when I will be able to host fellow couch surfers. As I'm currently on the road, travelling around eastern Canada, I will be relying on the generousity and kindness of others for the next little while, until I find myself in a location where I will hopefully be able to begin returning the favours... :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couch surfing experience was just last Thursday, when the most amazing host invited me and my friend into his place in Quebec city. It was fantastic. He was fantastic. I fell in love. Not to worry Stew, if you ever read this, it was the couch surfing. I can't wait to do more..!!
