CURRENT MISSION

To drive to every state in the U.S. in my car with a good friend and eventually feel like i know every place as if it could be where I grew up.

ABOUT ME

My name is David. I get along great with my family and my sister is my best friend. I also get along great with almost every one I know. I love to travel. I prefer driving and being the driver. I love animals. I can sleep just about anywhere if I am tired. I love tea and coffee. I moved up to Portland, Oregon in January of 2010 and moved back to Newbury Park with my family in December of 2010.

PHILOSOPHY

One thought that I have come up with is that, if I were to only have minutes to live, and I knew it, the best action to take would to be to sit down and eat an amazing hamburger or sandwich. There's no point in worrying about something horrible happening to you or someone else, not that you shouldn't help or try to prevent it. Some things are just so out of your control that it doesn't make any sense to get all worked up when it could be about nothing, and it doesn't matter if what you were worked up about becomes true. It just is.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far my favorite and only experience with CouchSurfing is getting an amazing tour of Portland from my friend Marcus, met on the website. He answered all of our many questions about the city as he showed us it, walking through the streets and spending the day with my sister and I.
