ABOUT ME
I live with my partner, Neal, who is going to share this profile with me. Though at the moment it's mostly about me. :) (What about me?! - Neal)
Hi! I'm a music teacher who teaches music to primary school classes plus individual flute lessons. I really enjoy teaching music, I do lots of workshops in this area and am on a couple of music teaching committees in SA and know lots of fabulous music teachers. Also I love working with children (most of the time anyway). They make work fun and worthwhile.
I like all different types of music and try and go to concerts when I can and listen to music all the time. I do a french conversation class once a week at the Alliance Francaise here in Adelaide. It's lots of fun and I like France and french stuff in general. I also used to do a dancing class every week but had to stop as I didn't have time to keep going. I hope do it again in the future.
I like films and cool tv shows, especially some english ones. I love reading and going to the beach, walks, riding my bike, hanging out with friends. I love ice cream as well.

What does Neal say?
Neal says something like "Hey!" I guess.
Enough with the greetings — have I mentioned bike polo? If you're around in Adelaide on Sunday you will come and play. WILL!
Do I play clarinet? Yes, it's true. And no, I'm not sorry. If you're extra special lucky you may even hear the lovely golden tones of the clarinet during your visit to Adelaide to play bike polo — You are here to play polo? Yes?
It's great that you've come to Adelaide to play bike polo, but you may also be interested to know that I do a number of astounding things. Such as teaching. And I'm something of a bicycle aficionado. That means I like bicycles. I also like full stops. See. Here's another one! Hmm, that one turned into an exclamation mark. Ah, there it is.
Beautiful things: Coffee, beer, trains, maps, letterpress, postcrossing (ooh!).
So glad you asked: http://bikepolo.com.au
See you in the Adelaide soon!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have been a member of couchsurfing since 2008. Me and my boyfriend have hosted quite a few people since then. It has been LOADS of fun and we look forward to hosting more people when we can. We did some surfing in Europe during May 2009 which was LOTS of fun. The couchsurfing community is awesome!
I live in the centre of the city of Adelaide and like having friends to stay and thought I could branch out to meeting new people. My couch availability depends on if I have friends staying and if I'm actually going to be at home. I like meeting new people.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have hosted in Adelaide and surfed in Europe. Hope to get involved with the Adelaide group too.
