ABOUT ME

Outgoing, adventurous, fun loving but serious when I need to be. I am a life long learner of medicine, philosophy, language, flying and learning new sports. I am currently studying to take my medical licensing exams and working on my masters in Neurosurgery. I have written some research articles and look forward to writing more in the near future. I am basically a science nerd who loves to travel and experience new and exciting cultures and sports.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Experience life, share ideas, stories and cultures.
I am well educated and travelled and have a lot of knowledge and experience I can share.
Maybe I can teach yoga or give some photography tips or some free medical advice in exchange for a couch to crash on :)

Interests

I love to travel!!! I have been traveling almost non stop since 2006 while taking some breaks to study abroad in a few different countries like Holland, China and now Australia. My passion is to study and practice medicine. I am currently starting a masters in Neurosurgery and will be also be doing some research in Neuroscience.
I am a huuuugge fanatic of Surfing, Snowboarding, Photography, Neuroscience, Learning new cultures, Rock climbing, Running and Hiking.
I love things that stimulate my brain in thinking and I also love physical challenges in some of the more extreme sports that I do.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Its hard to pinpoint ONE amazing thing (became a doctor, pilot, yoga instructor, learned Chinese, skydiving, traveling, mountain races) ...but if I had to chose one thing to sum it all up, I can truly say that I have LIVED my life. This is my most AMAZING thing I have done so far :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I am fascinated with quantum physics and quantum theories, consciousness, defining reality, and the big questions like how the universe formed, about God, about the future of man kind ect.... also interested and pretty knowledgeable in medical stuff like tissue regeneration, stem cells, plastic surgery, neurosurgery and burns surgery :P

I can also share my photography knowledge if you like photography, I currently own a Sony A7RII which is a GREAT camera!
I am a certified yoga instructor, I learned in Rishikesh India, if your into yoga or meditation.
I am a medical doctor, although still working on getting licensed while I work on another degree.
I like aviation and have learned to fly Cessna and Piper airplanes in the US.
I speak a few different languages if you would like to learn or practice a new language, or learn Chinese calligraphy!
I like to volunteer all around the world so I am EXTREMELY knowledgable about volunteering opportunities in a wide range of countries, conditions and fields. I personally have been to Tanzania to volunteer in a hospital, The USA to volunteer in a clinic, China to volunteer with deaf kids, and am planning a trip to the Syrian boarder to volunteer at a hospital for all the wounded refugees.
