About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Visit places on my list before it becomes to long!

ABOUT ME

A native of the Pacific Northwest, in California for 10 years, and am constantly working on the balance between city life & time outdoors. During the week I split my time between a few jobs: one at an amazing art studio & gallery and the other in the food world, both of which I feel lucky to be a part of.

Aside from work, I have been a Masters swimmer for 8+ years and absolutely love the water. The past few years of included a lot of open water competitions and lake adventures such as swimming in the Bay and alpine lakes at 9000+ feet. Guess you could say I am not afraid of cold water!

A lot of bike riding, cooking, laughing with friends, games, books, walking until I am lost, etc.

PHILOSOPHY

Live the life that makes you happy.

Music, Movies, and Books

I think the last many things I have read were all Oliver Sacks - I like to pretend I'm the science-y brain type. Besides case studies, I try to keep up with the news and juggle in some fiction. Lately its been a lot of word searches to help me fall asleep.

All sorts of music, thought it tends to be more minimal mathematical beats or men and their guitars, or anything coming out of Iceland usually works.

I am a sucker for documentaries - mostly anything to do with geology, the human body + brain, travel and lately surfing. When it comes to movie movies, I am a bit clueless as I haven't had a tv in years and rarely make it to the theatre. But! I do like them, and am always looking for suggestions.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Walked through new cities where everything is a surprise, have made new friends from all around the world, explored empty valleys & swam solo in open waters.

Countries I’ve Visited

Bolivia, Iceland, Italy, Malta

Countries I’ve Lived In

Italy, United States
