CURRENT MISSION

I am actually on a serious mission to complete my bucket list. I will visit my 100 year old grandmother, vacation in southern- cal for a week, live in NY and then go to Europe. Wooo hooooo ! Here we go!!!! :)

ABOUT ME

Love is the perogotive of the brave.

I get along easily with people. I am flexable, easygoing, upbeat, fun, humorous, and have an infectious laugh. I love to meet new people, explore all sintilating aspects of cultural morsals and love to call on the inner gods of peace at the end of the day. I am a San Francisco bay area native. I graduated from a doctoral program in clinical psychology, and have been working as a bilingual therapist(Spanish and English). I dance Salsa, African, reggae tone etc and often sing and listen to Jazz music mostly in the San Francisco Mission district. I love to hang at funky cafe's and nice restaurants with soulful or Jazzy live music with the smell of cappucino or garlic, or whine. :) I'm intuitive, insightful and a good friend. I'm into the positive and tend to ride above the drama. Walk my talk as far as the simple karma of treating other's well and expecting the same, but everything generally comes with a twinge of humor. I was raised Buddhist in a hippie town in northern California and do yoga, but have been urban for twenty years now and have a deep respect for diverse cultural groups and belief systems. :)Cheers

PHILOSOPHY

Trees are the greatest of our ancient teachers. Always revert to them for role models. They simply open their hearts to love and grow. No Neurosis, no doubt as to whether they deserve that light (love), they just head straight towards it. Whether you see the world as possitiv or whether you feel you receive love in the world, tends to be due to whether you walk the world with an open heart in each moment.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Will be looking for people to couch serf with in Southern California, New York, and Europe mostly. I had one person on my couch and will have more in the future.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We had a sweet Italian guy stay on our couch because my roommate met him walking on the trail near our house in Sausalito.He told us about couch surfers.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ecuador.. happiest time in my life, climbed mount Cotopaxi and looked at the stars in the Andies, stayed in an Ashram in India and opened my heart, being in love, protested the blockade to travel to Cuba and studied self sustainability in Cuba and gained a perspective on what it really means to be a capitalist, wrote a 100 page dissertation (book)and contributed to disabled teenagers being able to go to college. :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I love meeting open minded or positive, fun friendly people. Although I LOVE learning from good old rouge education (conversations between people and experience) I am often good for the "how are you?" conversation over the who are you or what do ya got.. so people who are personable and real are cool too. I can teach meditation and some yoga. I also have my Doctorate in cross cultural clinical psychology.
