PHILOSOPHY

A vignette from the greatest party I ever threw: Under a full moon, four people drift around a pond in a leaky rowboat. One paddles, one improvises songs on his guitar and sings, one bails water, and the fourth is lighting and firing bottle rockets... because there's a shore-to-boat bottle rocket war going on. My philosophy is to try to infuse my daily life with the spirit of that amazing yet absurd moment.

I love hosting but may not often be able. I'm still excited to meet up or at least give you some tips on things to do around town.

Costume parties! Oh my goodness yes. Music. Subways and trains. D&D. Discordianism. Abandoned buildings and UrbEx. Science. Eating as many mangos as possible (and more!). Thinking about ego death. Compulsively reading inane comments on political websites even though they make my head blow up.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

While backpacking above the treeline in the Caucasus mountains, my friends showed me the cliffs where Prometheus was supposedly bound. There was snowpack even in August and one friend, who was a member of the local mountain rescue team, regaled us with stories of the heart-pounding adventures he'd been on. Unfortunately, they all ended the same way: "We didn't find the bodies until the thaw the next spring."

So what I reeeeally want to learn, more than anything, is how to do that loud whistle that you do with 2 fingers in your mouth. Do you know how?

In 3rd grade, I did a report called "How to talk to your cat". I will totally teach you all about that.
